The Batteryguard XL-20 400V battery safe first charges three quarters of the batteries, then automatically switches in the remaining ones.

Smart charging system ElectrIQ explained
This battery safe combines continuous charging and automatic switching – made possible by the ElectrIQ charging system. Three levels charge simultaneously – ideal during busy working hours. The fourth level only switches on when the third level is fully charged. The safe automatically determines what’s needed and prevents overloading your connection. Dutch online retailer Wehkamp uses this safe in their distribution centre to charge both large pallet truck batteries and small batteries for mobile workstations.

This safe charges on four levels, three of which are active simultaneously. Each level provides up to 16 amperes of current. Level four switches on automatically when there’s room. For example: a charger of 6A, one of 5A, and one of 4A = 15A, which fits perfectly on one level.
Notice:
It’s best to distribute heavier chargers across different levels. This way, you can charge many batteries simultaneously without risking excessive power consumption.
