Safely charging many smaller batteries on 230 V
Do you use batteries for two-way radios, hand scanners or light tools on a daily basis, but don’t want to install three-phase power? Then the Batteryguard XL-16 battery safe is a practical solution.
Standard configuration: European sockets. Optional: UK, French or Swiss sockets available on request.
Who is the Batteryguard XL-16 for?
This battery safe is suitable for organisations where several colleagues need a charged battery at the same time. You will recognise yourself in these situations:
- You use multiple batteries every day for two-way radios, hand scanners or light power tools
- You want all chargers and batteries together at one clear charging point instead of spread throughout the building
- You have a 230 V supply at the charging location and want to charge many batteries at once without three-phase power

Complete your battery safe with practical extras
The Batteryguard XL can be easily expanded with smart options that make daily use even more convenient, such as docking stations, pull-out shelves and an electronic code lock on the door. Want to know which extras are most useful for your situation? Take a look at the available options.

Safety first
If you charge many batteries in one place, you want to be sure that an incident does not immediately affect your entire building. The Batteryguard XL-16 is therefore designed so that a battery fire remains inside the battery safe. This reduces the risk of major damage and long-term disruption to your operations.
The XL-16 has been tested according to the VDMA 24994 test requirements. Based on these tests, the battery safe has been awarded the ECB-S certificate.

Personal advice for your workplace
Every organisation uses batteries in a different way. Not sure whether the Batteryguard XL-16 is the best fit for your workplace? We are happy to think along with you. In a short conversation we look together at:
- which batteries you use and how many are in circulation
- how often and at what times you charge (during the day, in the evening, in shifts)
- which circuits and connections are currently available on site
Based on this, we give a practical recommendation. Sometimes a battery safe with 16 sockets is exactly the right solution; in other cases, a safe with more or fewer charging points is a better fit.
